The untranslatable
ñ is a unique letter of the Spanish alphabet. We chose ñ [‘enje] as our company name because it represents the untranslatable. We have the most fun when facing a play on words, a double meaning or an expression that simply does not exist. Adapting or trans-creating demonstrates our expertise of the language and of the Spanish culture.
Showing the reader respect
The Spanish market is not an afterthought and Spanish copy ideally should not be translated, but if we have to, it should not sound translated.
The readers should feel that the text has been created for them. And so, they’ll listen.
